II Meeting of European Digital Hubs

On 22 February in Brussels, the second meeting was held in a series planned as part of the Digital Innovation Hubs Working Group, whose members include the CIT UPC and the DAMA UPC research centre. 
The aim of this meeting was to bring the Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) that are members of the European Catalogue closer together, to discuss how to fund the DIHs, and to improve access to funding for SMEs.

The Biomechanics area of the Research Centre for Biomedical Engineering (CREB UPC) has analysed the movement of arms of basketball players from FC Barcelona B to improve their effectiveness at shooting the ball through the hoop. In the study, musculoskeletal models were used to compare angles, speeds and joint torque. The general results can help to improve the players’ shooting technique.
